Ever since I can remember, I've been drawn towards expressing myself through words. I wrote my first poem when I was 5 called "The Yellow Mitten", about a boy who loses a mitten in the snow, and digs in futility trying to find it, knowing it's buried somewhere unseen. I was a happy kid.
At age 11 I had my first poem published in the Stanford Anthology for Youth. In high school I started a free speech underground newspaper. While at UC Berkeley, at the behest of my teacher, playwright Adriano Shaplin, I began Punch Theater. The troupe went on to become an internationally produced theater company for which I wrote all of the texts.
In December of 2020, I released my first anthology of writing entitled Against the Moon on Tribow Press.
I currently write and perform standup comedy, and my writing has been featured in the Huffington Post, Broke-Ass Stuart, and other publications. I'm presently focusing on publishing my debut novel Rainbows.
